Croatia's Most Beloved Waterfall Park — Right Next Door

Imagine standing on a wooden boardwalk, surrounded by the thundering sound of waterfalls cascading over moss-covered travertine rock, the air cool and fresh, the water so clear you can count the fish beneath your feet. That's Krka on a summer morning — and it's just 60 minutes from Split.

Krka National Park is one of those rare places that looks better in person than in any photograph. The star of the show is Skradinski Buk — a series of 17 waterfalls tumbling over 800 metres, each one more dramatic than the last. The colour of the water is unlike anything you've seen: somewhere between turquoise and emerald, almost impossibly vivid in the afternoon light.

Your driver will pick you up in the morning and give you enough time to explore at your own pace before heading back in the late afternoon, relaxed and full of memories.

What You'll Experience

Moments You'll Never Forget

Stand at the Falls

Skradinski Buk is one of the most dramatic waterfall systems in Europe. Walk the boardwalks right alongside the cascades, feel the cool mist on your skin, and take in views that stop you mid-sentence.

Wooden Boardwalk Trails

Wind through the park on scenic elevated walkways that weave between the cascades. Every turn reveals a new angle — bring your camera, you'll use every shot.

Visovac Island Monastery

Visible from the water, the tiny Franciscan monastery on Visovac Island has stood since the 15th century. A short boat ride (optional) takes you there for one of Croatia's most peaceful moments.

Wildlife & Nature

Herons, kingfishers, otters, and over 220 bird species call Krka home. Wander the quieter upper trails in the morning for your best chance of spotting them.

Local Village Lunch

On the way back, ask your driver to stop at a family-run konoba (tavern) in the Dalmatian hinterland — our local knowledge means we know exactly which ones are worth it. Grilled lamb, homemade wine, and views that never get old.

Perfect Day Trip Weather

April through October, Krka is simply stunning. Spring brings the most powerful water flow; summer the lushest green; autumn the most dramatic light and lower crowds.
